Midori of Full Spectrum is the daughter of the amazing Fridse 423 and Rolanda B (daughter of Aan 416).  We purchased her in February of 2015.  This stunning purebred Friesian mare is destined for greatness.  She has a nice long mane, and thick tail.  Midori has an abundance of feather for such a young mare.  She is everything we look for in an equine that is to become part of the Hardenberg Family.  She is loving, in your pocket, intelligent, willing and stunning.

From Midori’s trainer Ms. Ellie Butcher “Midori is, because of her type, the epitome of the Friesian breed. She has length in the legs and is built upwardly, which is accentuated even more through her long, muscular neck. She distinguishes herself by strong connections between the different skeletal parts, followed by a long and well laid croup. She shows great athletic ability. Midori stands out by her great movement. Her trot is absolutely superb. A high and far reaching front leg, with power from behind. This mare moves with a lot of body use. She has a powerful and active walk, good trot and nice body frame. Very much true to type. The bloodlines of Midori are very interesting. Her sire Fridse 423 is a proven top producer, he is approved on his offspring. The mother of Midori, Rolanda B, is a daughter of the famous Aan 416."

Bred in June to Sape 381
Started under saddle and settled in nicely to her new job.
We took her to 2 shows in halter classes where she excelled. Both times receiving 2nd place with Quarter Horse Judges!
In December, Midori participated in her first parade. She loved the attention and while calm, she carried herself with grace and elegancy!
Midori delivered her first foal, a stunning colt Emmitt fan Hardenberg. Emmitt will be retained at this time.
In September, Ms. Butcher and Jenni took Midori and Emmitt to Keuring in Kansas. Both did well with very particular judges. Midori moved to the adult studbook receiving a 3rd primie. The judges were very impressed with her racial type, movement, but that she needs to work on collection. Emmitt also did well and received 6s in all categories, also receiving a 3rd primie.
